This "Case XX 6107" doesn't look right

I hope I'm not boring y'all with this but still have a few questions if there's any one out there that knows...

Did Case make a 6207 with a plain oval shield?

Did Case ever use this handle material?

Just wondering if the handle components of this knife could have been Case parts from a 6207 and someone just made a single blade knife out of the parts.

Looks like there might be a single pin near the center of the shield into the liner

The seller says I can return it no problem but I'm really curious about this one
