Seen one like this before
Just took a picture of the knife not for sure how to post the the listing from EBay. Looked at all my old case knife reference books but I don’t see any tested knives that have handles with jigging like this one. I collect xx and USA but never messed with any older case knives. Never new enough about them to want to collect and always afraid of getting burned on a fake. Seems like they been counterfeit them since I started collecting in early 70s. I know I have seen this handle before on a whittler pattern like this before . Maybe it’s not fake but just made in the Kentucky Case factory. Just kidding. Nobody posted this knife on counterfeit so wanted you guys to tell me good or bad.

Sorry pictures didn’t go Thur not to good at this.

I think this is the knife you question? I don't like the shield which almost guarantees you it is correct.

I am suspicious of the shield, the jigging and the blades.

That's that old Alligator jigging.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

The listing link from Ebay that Bob supplied has been taken down already!
Re: Seen one like this before
The knife was still up this morning had 1 day to go and had 9 bidders was already at 356 dollars. Glad it was taken down it saved someone from a bad deal. Those kind of knives would make a new collector stop collecting.

That knife is a disaster! To think that someone would bid $356 for it amazes me.

I been enjoying this site for years but never joined the web site or posted anything till I retired. I have been collecting for years but learn something new on here everyday. I was hesitant about posting someone’s knife on here. Didn’t want to accuse someone of trying sell a bad knife. Saw the knife several days ago and saw there was a lot of bidders and it just kept getting to a crazy price . Glad I posted it hope it saved someone from being really disappointed when they found out .

"Fake"--rumble strip jigging--primary blade shape wrong--tang stamp wrong--shield lettering not uniform......
