The pattern number has been engraved with a rotary engraver evidenced by the "dots" at the bottom of each character. Was this just a part of the restoration?

Good eye on this! Engraving looks bogus. It does say 5347 HP and not 6347 HP though, so they got that much of it right.

Perfect example of what a rotary engraving tool will do. Knife was most likely a 3347HP to start with. I would classify this as a counterfeit knife. The "CASE XX" stamp looks to be fake as well.
