Fake Russell Barlow

This one is easy to call:

Stag "Russell" barlow based on a Utica/Kutmaster barlow. This is a textbook bad counterfeit. The guy didn't even try to make this one look convincing.

Pattern and rivets are in a typical Utica barlow configuration. Stag is new on a frame with old bent liners, Russell "R" logo stamped on ground down bolster, blade tang ground and cold stamped.

I guess the tang stamp and bolster wear were added to cover his tracks. ::mdm::

It's not even wear on the bolster, just sloppy grinding with visible grind marks.

Now says “Bidding has ended on this item”. Zero bids.

Reading the description, the combination “Sambar stag” and “Russell” don’t compute.
