Trouble uploading photos from my tablet

I recently got a samsung galaxy tab 3. Its great for surfing and posting, but I haven't been able to upload images the new way, like I was able to do before with my laptop. When I click on choose file, it goes to my gallery. I then choose the photo and it goes back to the aapk screen. I then click to upload the file. It opens a new window and shows like it is uploading, but on the original window, it says the image type is invalid. The other window just continues like it is trying to upload.
Has anybody else run into this?

Can you tell if the images in your Galaxy are stored in .jpg format? Most likely are. That seems to be the standard these days.

Yes, they are. I actually dropped them in an SD card from my laptop so I would have access to them.

Probably a compatibility issue of some kind but I'm sure you already figured that out.

Yeah...
Just frustrating, that's all. I'm sure I'll work it out at some point...

Just an update. After doing some research online, it looks like the issue was my tablet's stock browser. I tried uploading with chrome, and had no issues at all.
Hope that may help someone down the line.
