Picture Uploading Problems.
Good morning Bryan. I posted this question yesterday but received no response. Maybe you can answer it, I hope. I seem to be able to navigate around the site quite easily now (knock on wood). However, when I try to upload the pictures that I take, it gives me the measurements of the picture that I'm trying to upload and I get this message:
"The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 1200 pixels wide and 1000 pixels high. The submitted image is X amount of pixels wide and X amount of pixels high."
Is this real or a glitch? Never had trouble with picture size before.
Thank you for everything you did and for your time, Skip.

Re: Picture Uploading Problems.
If I recall correctly (and sometimes I don't) Bryan had the previous version set to automatically resize images that were outside the specified parameters. It could be one of those things that slipped through the cracks when he did the upgrade.

Re: Picture Uploading Problems.
Well, the obvious question is: What are the dimensions of the pictures you are attempting to post? I tend to agree with Jerry - auto-resize might be a feature that hasn't yet been enabled after the server move.

I think you are correct, Jerry... I vaguely recall adding an auto resize script years ago. Great memory!!! I'll try to get that going again soon.
In the mean time, I've made it so you should be able to directly upload any size, Skip.
Please let me know if the problem persists.
Thanks,
Bryan

Hopefully no later than tomorrow (Oct. 09)...

Re: Picture Uploading Problems.
Hi Bryan. I tried another picture and I get the same message:
"The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 1200 pixels wide and 1000 pixels high. The submitted image is X amount of pixels wide and X amount of pixels high."
I can upload small pictures, but they won't enlarge when you click on them.
I can't upload the same size pictures that I could before the server switch.
Here is a "small" picture that I can upload, but can't enlarge. I don't know the "size" as far as pixels are concerned.

Skip,
Are you using a pc, tablet, phone, or other & do you know what browser you're using?

Re: Picture Uploading Problems.
I do not have a solution, yet. It appears some members are able to attach any size image, while others are having their larger images rejected due to size.
Hoping to be able to get this fixed for all soon. Will be digging deep into the code tomorrow

Re: Picture Uploading Problems.
Sorry Bryan, but no. I tried to post a picture that I would've been able to post pre-server switch and I got this message.
"The image must be at least 0 pixels wide, 0 pixels high and at most 1200 pixels wide and 1200 pixels high. The submitted image is 2362 pixels wide and 1893 pixels high."

Well... Rats! Hopefully I'm at least getting closer.
Are you getting that message right when you select an image or when you click to submit your entire post?

Re: Picture Uploading Problems.
Nice test pic Windsor. How did you get it to work? I'm getting closer. No pixel size message, but it won't place the picture inline when I click on place inline. Thanks.

Re: Picture Uploading Problems.
I click on "Choose File" which shows me my options of where to get my picture(s) from. I choose my picture and a very, very tiny picture shows up next to "Choose File." Then I click on "Add File" and it shows when it is ready to be uploaded in the display, just below. Then I just click on preview or submit and it's done. I've never clicked on "Place Inline."
