AAPK store question

Post by treefarmer »

Would there be a way to show the sold date on the knives that have been listed and sold on the forum?
It might be helpful in researching price trends. When the knife is marked "SOLD OUT" in the little red box would it be hard to add the sold date?

I don't own a store here but I think that's a really good idea. That, if possible, would definitely help those who are researching current pricing. ::nod::

That is a good idea. On the GIANT knife forum it is just the opposite. Easy to tell when a knife is sold but most sellers obliterate the price it sold for. Extremely annoying if not downright rude.

So true Cal! Very annoying, especially since those posts remain on that site for eternity.

Personally I would like to see both the date listed and the date sold as well as the price it sold for.
That would help me to know if it took me three years to sell a knife I may have priced it too high. It would also help me in researching to set the price and compare it to what they're selling for on eBay so I can see if the price is going up or coming down on a particular model or brand.

As ya know Dale, we could see all our sold items in the store..
so I bet Bryan might be able to pull this off,,
but when he switched to the new store format, did not they leave our
sold items in like 90 days ???
If anyone can do it, Bryan is the man !!!

So glad that I looked at this forum as I was going to suggest the same thing. I have looked up many knifes and seen a particular model sold, and thought wow I wish I could of got one for that price but have no idea if it sold last week or last decade.
