Help with knife maker

Post by SmileyBuck »

Just traded up a fixed blade knife with stag handle and on the tang is etched "A. Sparks" then the other side of the tang has "2-24-89" anybody have any ideas?
With the name just etched on it was very hard to get a pic

It is best to include a picture of entire knife as the 'style' can help twig someone's memory, and it is more interesting if we can see the knife as well as the markings.

Thanks SB. Neat knife, rather unique pattern, quite distinctive which can help to ID the maker.

Don't give up, not yet. There are lots of people on AAPK who know many small time knife makers, but it can take a few weeks for some to see your thread. Could even get an answer a year from now.
