In the basement
Re: In the basement
Eustace, I can see the progression in each knife. That last one is night and day more improved that the 1st one. None are bad, all really look usable. I am proud for you, and now with your basement shop I bet things really flow. Thanks for sharing them all.
Re: In the basement
Great to see the other knives in the process.
Is the fourth knife down a San mai?
Good work. Thanks for sharing.

Nice work Eustace....
I like your basement work shop..... I have to go across the yard to mine.... Not fun on a COLD RAINY day.
Keep up the good work!

No. Ferric chloride etching. I do not have working conditions for forging. All my knives are grinded bars.Tony_Wood wrote: Is the fourth knife down a San mai?

Thank you, friends!
Re: In the basement
I'm liking the looks of that already Eustace. Can't wait to see it finished.
Re: In the basement
Thanks, doglegg, but unfortunately grinding system is not very fast. Its power is only 1 EP (Eustace power)doglegg wrote:I'm liking the looks of that already Eustace. Can't wait to see it finished.
