Happy international viking's day!
Ok, I just made that up , but I do have a freshly finished viking's axe to show
It has a 11.5 cm/ 4.5 inch long edge and a 37 cm/ 15 inch long shaft.

Cool axe Csizmar, Wonderful head and handle.
Re: viking axe
Beautiful handle and blade! The size is just about right for a belt axe/hatchet for my own use.
I recently replaced a very old True Temper hatchet I had with a German-made (by Ochsenkoph) Stihl Forestry Hatchet, and the "beard" as it's called made it really good for detail work, which is something, for the most part, American axe and hatchet patterns lack.

Re: viking axe
Awesome work as always Csizmar! What kind of wood is the handle?

Yeah, they rarely make them with a beard anymore
