John, when it comes to the current state of affairs at the USPS, we live on hope. ::fc::
Yep.. I was kinda hoping by now the mail would be on track.. I guess ya know about the "Wish in one hand" Saying.. Holding off mailing some things and buying any more stuff.. (Read that knives.)...

So far, things seem to be back to normal here. ::fc:: (I hope I didn't jinx it.)

The only thing better than "Out For Delivery" is "Delivered".

Looks like the USPS must have piled up all that Christmas mail they were behind on...... and is just now delivering it in the "after Christmas mailing lull period".

2 years later and things haven't changed much with shipping issues. USPS seems to have gotten their act together somewhat, but not sure what is going on at FedEx. Had I not taken the time to get shipping alerts sent via email and text yesterday, this package would probably still be sitting in a truck somewhere.

So under "tricks of the trade," if you're having shipping issues, try forcing the carrier to notify you regarding the package's progress. It might put it on their radar because they know someone is watching. Sad that it has come down to that.

FedEx is the only carrier who seems to have been undependable for me. I get their notifications, but I’ve had more than one occasion where the original delivery date keeps getting pushed back. I’ve had a package come in as much as a week later than the original delivery date.

Here’s my latest , UPS delivered this crushed empty box that was supposed to have 800+ dollars of parts in it .
Luckily my supplier took care of it .
