WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Thank for the kind words folks! I will have to figure out this multi quote. Great day on the refuge, even got stuck in a bison herd, as a rancher was moving his herd.
Great knives folks!
Tony_Wood, here is a open pic
These two are with me often on the homestead, Johnny Stout Drop Point with some damascus that Devin Thomas made for me, with a CruForge V core, cocobolo burl handles with hidden pins, along with a Ploppert stockman in some nice, amber stag
Have a great Saturday!

I've had some combination of these with me every day since Monday. Mostly all 3. Just the ever-useful 47 today.

The parade of customs and NWs has me a little self-conscious about my meager totes.
Gave the camel bone 43 a break today so I pocketed an ebony Churchill and an old Rogers bone Voos from Churchill's time.

Montanaman, you may have to slow down on your post. Some time I have just begun to regain my faculties when you post again, and I am having to change shirts more often because of the drool. The old adage of buying the best available is something you see to have latched on to. Great knives.

Thanks doglegg, I appreciate that. Each their own, I carry and use customs most of the time and do not own many factory knives, but I really enjoy seeing what everyone carries and sharing my own. Thanks again for the kind comments.doglegg wrote:Montanaman, you may have to slow down on your post. I guess you could say I'm on a camillus kick at the moment, so I decided to tote this 67 today (while one of the dogs is wanting for attention).

Liking this 15 boy's knife more and more because it's so thin and light. Also noticed this is the first GEC I've had where the label is not hand written by Christine Tucker. End of an era I guess.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I have two of those boys knives and man are they nice. You really have to hold one to know how great they are, you just can’t get it from the pics. I am loving all these GEC knives. I watch the the ebay auctions like a hawk on these and can never get a great deal on one. They bring top dollar all the time. Love em.
Check out this Viper knife I picked up last week on ebay. I was the only one who bid on this and got it at the starting price, I actually feel bad about paying too little for this knife. But that happened to me several times when I first started selling on eBay. This knife is really nice, has beautiful lines and opens so smoothly and locks up tight. The fit and finish is reall top notch. I have admired these in the A.G. Russell catalog for years. Couldn’t pass on this one.

Iman they started doing that on the last run of 71's. Unfortunately that's the way it seems to be from now on. I thought the hand written label was a nice touch. I can't blame them for it though, that's a lot to write for one person.Ivoryman wrote:Liking this 15 boy's knife more and more because it's so thin and light.
