Matchng Pairs
Matchng Pairs
I thought it might be fun to see what pairs of knives you folks might have plus I really like looking at knife pictures, I looked to see if this type of thread had been done and couldn't find one If one exists admins. please move, close, delete or what ever you find appropriate. Being a new kid on the block I have missed a lot of threads. Here's a few of mine. Feel free to mix it up like fixed blades and folders or two totally different knives what ever you feel goes together let's just see some pictures.

Beautiful 45 1/2's. I want one of those so bad I can taste it. Love those slick black handles, a classic.

Re: Matchng Pairs
Nice autos GD! Yet to own one. Bet I would like the auto (semi) that the pictured magazine goes into too!
Thanks Greg! Like the others you just posted also a lot. The 31 is a tank, I EDC a 75' slick black. Really enjoy a 35 and the blue scroll swing guards are my favorite knife. More specifically, I like the engraved blue scroll swing guards. 1000 made, here are 5 engraved models along with all the other 1970 to 1977' Stag CASE Swing Guards.. Funny as I am really not an etch liker especially on an EDC but hey, they did not make many stag of this pattern in the 70s' and I think the etch is a nice touch in the overall knife design. along with all the other 1970 to 1977' Stag CASE Swing Guards.
Congrats on a nice set of blue scrolls Greg! Thought about chasing that monster once as I have roughly about 1/2 the set already but one can only have so many irons in the fire. Maybe someday but could have had a dozen sets if available if I would just quit buying guns and ammo.
Those trappers and Copperheads are real beauties too.

Re: Matchng Pairs
Jerry, I have seen your chettahs before and I'm quite enviious of those. Isn't it strange how people latch on to a certain pattern and are vociferous as pitbulls until they get all they can? Iam the same way with the 1972 cuely maple sharktooth. I want them all. Wierd!

Re: Matchng Pairs
Thanks Greg! Yep, we all have different tastes in knives. Don't own a tactical as of yet, just not my bag and no offense to those that own and enjoy them. Just not my cup of tea as they say. I collect CASE only, prefer jacks one and 2 bladed, small Jacks or pen for watch pocket carry, Stockmans, for EDC. Don't carry collection knives of which I own all kinds of CASE patterns.gsmith7158 wrote:Jerry, I have seen your chettahs before and I'm quite enviious of those. To your point, we all (mostly) tend to latch on to one. My Dad loved the CASE Swing Guard as did I. He is gone now so I filled in the missing knives in the all CASE "Sub-Collection". Just had to see the goal through and it took more than a few bucks to do so but glad I did.
I have a few sharktooth I own that I will have to dig out and post. No curly maple as I recall but I think a black pakkawood and a stag if I recall correctly.
Regards, Jerry
