I've been involve in a couple of "bombing" raids recently, and I know just how you feel Garry, I found the experience almost overwhelming.
As nice as it was to receive it was just as nice to give, so you should be feeling good and Floyd should too, and I'm sure you both are.

Well I go to my mailbox yesterday, and I take out a box and look it over and see that it is from doglegg (Floyd). I am not expecting anything so I don't know what is going on. When I open it I find out that it is a BOMB from Floyd. Evidently I made the mistake of bemoaning my bad luck of having never won a monthly knife giveaway and Floyd took this personally and sent me one of his winners. And more! It was like he dropped a 3 megaton nuclear bomb on me. WOW! As shown below, he sent me the knife he won in the February drawing that was customized by Dale (Orvet), as well as a Camillus fishing knife rehandled by Jeffin, and a Remington whittler in the configuration of the Camillus 72. I was absolutely speechless by this gesture, but that is the kind of guy Floyd is. Thanks a million, Floyd.

Yesterday I was bombed in a manner that has still left me stunned. It was a Texas kind of bomb. I received a package from Floyd, aka Doglegg. Within was this magnificent ivory-handled Bulldog Sowbelly. As some of you know, Bulldog is my favorite and most collected brand.

This particular knife will be my Sunday knife today and for many Sundays to come. It is a real gem. While I have thanked Floyd privately, I want to again do so here. Many thanks for a spectacular bomb.

Recently, knowing that QS was taking care of his sweet sister Bev after she had an accident, I thought I would encourage him a little and show him a little respect for being such a good brother. I sent him a Bulldog I had. I forgot his military background and tactical mind but today I was reminded. Return fire showed up in my mailbox in the form of an absolutely fabulous Queen made S&M whittler! A total surprise and wonderful knife. I guess be careful who you target. Thank you Garry for such thoughtful generosity.
