Nice picture Steve. I really like the 63. As a matter of fact, I have one myself. It has good stout springs & the blades are nice & tight. My only gripe is with the walk on the master blade. It feels like there’s a bump on the tang that doesn’t slide smoothly over the spring. Almost like a half stop but not at the right spot. I’ve polished the tang on a S&M & it turned out fine but I don’t have as much room to get to the bump to polish it on the 63. Not a huge deal but the rest of the knife is so good that it does bother me. Otherwise I think it’s great. Have you experienced anything like that?

After receiving it, he rehandled it (in orange bone - my fav color) and bombed me with it.
I carried it yesterday and thought of that experience. What a great memory and what a great guy!!!
Great story! ::nod:: ::tu::

This week I’m going cheap and cheerful with this little Imperial.

Thanks. The backdrop was initially my idea, only in a bigger basket. Becky and I both love the fall. A trip together to Hobby Lobby, a joint effort in picking out the contents... the creative assembly you see was all put together by Becky. Over 39 years together and I don't have complaint one about how she arranges or decorates the house. Man, I have a great wife!
Take care and God bless,

A few years ago Mike (313Mike) listed this knife for sale here on AAPK. I said how much....he replied, if you want it, it's yours....no charge.

My knives have memories.....decided to start sharing.

Great blades all. FFF, that Mike 313 knife is a score. What a guy. Like the Peanut too. I'm with you on blades that used to be an AAPK brothers. More meaning. Steve Warden nice shot of the tang to show it. Steamboat W, Zed, and DM11, all fine and good to see. You too Gdogg, great pics of the lake and blades. Nice page to contribute to.
Todays pair: a Northwoods mini moose and Northfield bullet end. Both use to be Q's and have meaning written all over them.
