I’d like to carry those two for a while just to get the feel.

I carried my Sodbuster to work today. It’s the large size, but it fits fine in my pocket.
::welcome:: to AAPK Dog! ::handshake:: Really like your buster, I recently received one with black covers and I'm totally impressed with how solid and well-built it is. Take your time exploring the site, there's plenty to see and learn on this forum, and you're gonna like it here. 8)

Thanks fellas! I like it here already. ::tu:: I received some wood treatment (polymerized tung oil and beeswax) in the mail today from a friend of mine and put some on my Ankermesser a while ago. Made a vast improvement! ::groove::

Welcome aboard, AntDog! The Ankermesser looks like a good one to have. Your Sod Buster is a great knife. I'm quite fond of the Jr, but the original is an impractical carry for me (blade length limit). How did the covers cone to be adorned?

Thank you, sir. I sketched the letters out freehand in pencil, then scratched them in with the awl on my SAK. I rubbed some black acrylic paint into the scratches and washed off the excess. I’m no scrimshander by any means, but I gave it a shot and it looks nice enough for me.

Man that camo handle blends right in. I could see how that one would be easy to lose if it was dropped or left sitting on something that color. Great camo. The oposite with that blaze orange sodbuster. Cool pair.

Beautiful Ulster Papa Bones. Great jigging, reminds me of a Schrade 881 if I didn't know better.

Here's some fungus in your eye.
