Yes, they haven't been made in 15 years, but they're still plentiful, and in my opinion, have the best and most consistent fit and finish.

For the past couple weeks I’ve been toting this stockyard whittler I bought from Roland. Wish I’d had the opportunity to get to know him better.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
This is not my favorite EDC but I'm packin' it anyway.
Such a nice old Oakland Cutlery Co. doctor knife. No date from Goin's.
From what I understand the Co. in "Cutlery Co." indicates an early stamp. Maybe it's German.
Any thoughts on that?
The very tip of the clip was missing so I put one back on there.
Very odd hard covers. Reminds me of Delrin but surly not.
Quite responsive and a great carry. 3 3/4" closed.
Thanks for looking.

Very nice lineup, Tom, good looking cutlery.
You just reminded me that I have wanted to ask you a question.......if you go to your local flohmarkt, or one not so local, do you see knives for sale? If so, is there quality/vintage German cutlery there?

Thanks Gentlemen! Appreciate your comments!
As far as "Flohmarkt" or "Flohmärkte" (plural) goes, I like to visit them whenever I get the chance but I haven't found any nice looking knives or Zippo's yet. I've seen a number of old beat up SAK's and a lot of cheap advertising knives but nothing worth buying IMO. I keep looking though. Who knows, I might get lucky & find something knice some day.
