Though I miss my rigger's knife, I hope the fellow Sailor I gifted it to got some good use out of it, and continues to use and enjoy it.

Were you successful? If not, at least you got outside and brought along some cool knives.

I met a farmer in Germany that had a certain breed of milk cow. He asked if I knew why he selected that breed and I guessed milk volume or high butter fat etc. He said nope, because I think they are pretty. If I look at something everyday I had just as well look at something I like. Sounds like you and the farmer would be in agreement. Long story to say lovely knife. ::tu:: ::tu:: ::nod:: ::nod::

Thank you Tom. And doglegg.

dog, while looks are significant to me as your cute story suggests, it has been the surprising performance of this little gem which captured my attention. It arrived much sharper than many traditional knives and has maintained its edge very well. Plus, as I indicated before, its size and texture feel great in my hand.

Thanks! The blade is great for trimming small branches off trees (making a walking stick etc...) chopping down brush to clear a line of sight when shooting and so on... ::hmm::

Nice Camillus duo. One looks like an electrician's knife. Am I correct?
