Greg, I really like the one in ebony.
Thanks doglegg. Buying that set of 7 Schatt & Morgans from the Heritage Series was one of my most satisfying knife purchases. A couple have minor issues like weak spring or proud pins but 5 of 'em are very fine knives. Good deal money wise too when bought as a set a couple years ago.

I like that big ol' Queen!
Never have run across the big single blade that I could snag. Maybe one day, as if I need another knife.

Farmer the Queens are hard to find at decent prices although I picked a Barlow the other day for a ten spot + shipping. I fished that #44 out of the bay a few years back for $ 13.13 shipped, won't happen again, people want 50 bucks for a slap wore out one now.treefarmer wrote:I like that big ol' Queen!

62109X is a mini-copperhead with a standard clip master blade. 62109W is the same knife with a Wharncliffe master blade. I do not think that designation changes based on grind.geocash wrote:And I'm still trying to figure out my Mini Copperhead, that I thought was "new grind." Does the "X" suffix refer to the copperhead bolster on the pen end? (Probably most everybody knows but me.)
The prettiest of pretty red bone from Case is the honest-to-goodness pocket-worn pretty bone of that era IMO.Eye Brand Man wrote:Totin this '65-'69 6275 Moose today
All-stainless Wooden Wednesday for me.
Everything's better with a Barlow

Nice knives here.
I like that old Imperial, dogg.
Joe, that big Queen is very nice.
Here's a nice big (4 inch) HSB in pearl covers that is very nice to carry.
Nickel silver liners.
Thanks for looking.

Nice, I prefer silver liners over brass. Steel/silver pins too for that matter just for the way it looks. Your post never disappoint me Joe, you have an outstanding collection from what I've seen since joining up here. Thanks for sharing.
Today I dug out this Russell saw cut bone handled Barlow that I haven't carried in awhile, a nice gift I received from one of the son-in-laws. Threw in the osage handled moose for the back pocket.

Threw this one in my pocket this morning. Headed in to pick up a 1930 Mercury. Built a flathead for it a few years ago, now it is time for a better transmission, this one out of a 1932.

Some fine toters being toted × 10.
Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Sure fellas, just got home with it on my rollback. This is actually a 1930 Ford, which I am replacing the old torque tube trans and putting in a 1932 Mercury trans with custom driveshaft and trans mount. The flathead I built years ago, fired right up with no smoke.
Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Thanks MM, wow what a classic old car. Fancy flat head motor!!! With all the new parts on that engine you probably don't need a clothes pen on the fuel line. Thank you for sharing. Love it.Montanaman wrote:Sure fellas, just got home with it on my rollback.
