Garry, that is astounding! In a completely different league from my two new pick-ups: a pair of Spyderco Dragonfly 2s, both with Wharncliffe blades.

Thank you Dan. I do like your Spydercos. Both are highly practical knives. My piece of course is not very practical even tho it will cut. I classify it as a piece of art, a sculptural work. Both yours and mine are excellent for their purpose.

This is a liner lock. The thumb stud is a small pearl.

As usual I suggest enlarging the photos.

Garry, You have no idea how long I have wanted to buy a Koji Hara knife. My envy is in overdrive. He is truly a master of blending art, craftsmanship and function. I have saved pictures of some of his knives on my IPad and just enjoy looking at them. This is one that I have looked at many times. It is truly elegant. Congrats on this one. Please add this one to the “other Seki made” thread.

Got these two in today.

A Victorinox Black Alox Pioneer
Vic Alox Blk.jpg
And a 2021 Case XX 10249W Copperhead Wharncliffe blade with Richlite scales in what Case calls Chocollate Brown & Red, layered with a natural layer. I had never heard of Richlite, and found out it is basically a type of paper Micarta.

I raided the change bucket this week & this one came today. Pretty decent for the price. 3½" closed. Check out the run-up on the main blade (looks better in person).

Suppose you could call it a survivors commemorative. Covid did hit our family hard.
Before covid going back a several years I would walk along with the kids on Halloween in full plague doctor costume. It was always fun to see peoples reactions.

Quite lovely toomanyknives. ::nod:: ::nod::

Picked up this little Ulster while bottom feeding in the bay. It was mainly because I liked the blade etch. Thanks for looking.
