DJ, that is a great looking fixed blade...especially the sheath work.

Henckel 1929 in stag. Every blade is stamped and the main is etched. Couldn’t leave it behind.

Scott, I think you could've bought more. But it seems you're losing interest in knives.

Scott, I think you could find knives to buy, at 30,000 feet, on a domestic flight.

Wow, Scott! What a haul!
Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Scott, I can't believe you found all of those in the same day and maybe in the same place! I have a Navy Friend that lives in Milton, FL maybe it's about time I took a road trip.

Score of the year for me! My wife and I were traveling to see relatives and stopped at a small outdoor flea market. That's when I spied this bowie. I figured it was Pakistani because it was the only knife on the table and was priced at $25. I think I was trembling when I pulled out my wallet. This is the best knife find I've made in a LONG time.

Long time, as if in ever! They say the hunt is what it's all about, but the find is pretty sweet too.

Scott, all I can think of is wow. Hope you had a wheelbarrow to get them home with. Nice work my friend. We were all afraid you might drown because of the hurricane, but never figured you'd drown in knives. ___Dave

Nice catch. I have one of those without Davy's etch and I was thrilled to get mine for $100 and I had to make my own sheath.____DaveByrd wrote:Score of the year for me! Gun show find. Case XX Kodiak 100 anniv. from 1989, mint in the box. It's just too pretty to use so I'm guessing most all of these made are in collections instead of on a belt.____Dave
Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Nice find! Those are gorgeous knives. I wonder if anyone does get one to use? I bet it'd make a good Skinner, but I wouldn't use it for that!

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Nothing to compare to what you fellers are finding, but I turned one up that I had wanted to add to my tl- 29 type knives, a Jackson for the Case and a Lincoln for the crowning rooster.
Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Dave, that would be a hard knife to pass by. Beautiful!!
BH, too great pick ups but that Case steals my heart. Great buy!!

Re: KNIFE FINDS OF THE DAY
Nice catch’s, gentlemen! Bfeldman, there’s something about that’s old breadknife. I don’t usually pay much attention to kitchen items, but that one is kind of yelling at me. Cool!
Here’s my new additions.
The little white celluloid is a Richards. (To nobody’s great surprise... )
The silver Gent’s is a Clauss. I looked it up and naturally, I ended up right here at home! It’s posted over in Knife Lore in a Clauss thread.
The silver plating is rather thin on the one end, but compared to what it looked like when I got it, I’m pretty happy with it. $5 Cdn, no complaints!
