Those TL-29s are kinda like Chinese knives, huh Gino. They may not be pretty or popular but they're real hard to pass up at the prices they go for.

I found two Camillus knives at the flea market this morning. The ever popular electricians knife and a nice Boy Scout whittler. I like the whittler, it looks like it's never been used.

Very nice finds gents.

I could have probably spent the time at a VERY big Flea on I-40 at exit where SMKW is.

But I was already past exit when I saw it again. ::shrug::

Latest pick for me, just bought it this a.m. on ebay. I really like the way the cigar cutter/caplifter blade is also incorporated as a handle for the wire nippers for the wire that held down champagne corks. Liked the price too.

I can't think of anything other than maybe a blade lock. Might work to keep it either closed or open or both. Will know more when I get the knife.

Gino - Boy what nice finds! Love the scout knife and Schrade's. I need to try hitting a flea market around hear. I'm sure they have them. I frequent the antique shops but usually don't see any good deals. Thanks for posting... TD

It came in the mail today. The sliding button is a lock for the nipper/cigar cutter/caplifter blade. That blade is spring-loaded and it pops out to the point shown in the pics. To set or release the lock the very end of that blade must be fully depressed to move the lock one way or the other. I think I'll switch forums and see what BRL has to say about it. Best eight bucks I've spent in a long time.
