Good decision Charlie. The bottom knife seems to be defying gravity. I suppose it is resting on another piece of wood not captured by the light.

Thanks QS. The KaBar is actually resting on a piece of black velvet and leaning against the driftwood. I keep that piece of black velvet on a small table in my home office to sit knives on. It just so happens that it makes a good background for photos too and I've used it many times. In this case the driftwood, which is a recent find, was sitting on that table along with a couple of knives I had been sharpening so I just moved the other knives, put the ones from my pockets on or by the wood and shot a couple of pics. When I got around to loading the pics on the computer.....they turned out way better than I expected. ::shrug::

Thanks guys!

Here again is a shot I took for the EDC thread on that same table early this morning and it turned out pretty cool. I had the sunrise shining in the window for this shot.

The eye level plus the angle of the knife make for an eye catching shot. Nice.

Iman, I can't if the 3rd photo down [ivory] was taken outdoors or in, but the lighting is so subtle that it provides a very rich, elegant, look. Superb!

Thanks for the high praise. Almost made me blush. It's indoors, small north facing window in the shop. Subtle is right. No direct sunlight, all toned down.

I agree Doc ::nod:: ::tu::
You have some of the best knife designs i'v seen Tony ::tu:: ::tu:: I need to pick up 1 or 2 from you in the near future. How much does this one run around? I also have a few Imperials needing to get redone in solid bolsters, liners, and nice scales. Either you could do it for me or one of the nice fellars on here. Anyway, again great work Tony!
