A professional photographer told me many years ago that the best light was in the early morning ::nod:: ...but I am pretty damn lazy so :oops: "early morning" for me is around 11:35 AM... :oops: ::facepalm::

I would agree with that. Would add however, that the pics of the Tidioutes, and the ones of the Case and Schrade in the tree above were just before sunset when the sun was low. I like the evening sun when the shadows are long. Morning and evening light works best to me.

All I have is an IPad for pics. Sometimes they look aright . I like how this one came out on the flag stone on my walkway.
