Kris, you may have to save that one for one of your daughters. Beautiful knife.

Re: Knife Photography
Great photos! That Johnny Stout is a beauty. Here are a couple new ones, Case with CV blades and carbon fiber weave handles. I like the CV because it is not all that common. If I can keep them oiled and rust-free, they may be worth what I paid for them someday!
A clear conscience is usually a sign of a bad memory.

Jtx, Scott, Rustle, you fellows are flaunting some pretty knice cutlery.
Re: Knife Photography
I call this shot " Case on a woodpile" ...real original, hey?

The title of the pic is an art unto it self. And that is a beautiful bone case on a wood pile.

I have to ask, what does "lichen" mean? Please help a college dropout (due to heath reasons of course!).

I'll jump in WillyC, it's what's growing on the rock. Google it as it is really an involved life form. Some of your mountain creatures eat it.
Re: Knife Photography
WillyC, from your posts I can tell that you are an intelligent man, college dropout or not. Someone once told me "don't mistake institutional knowledge for intelligence", that is good advice. From pictures you have posted I would say that you wouldn't be seeing any lichen up there on the Canadian prairie.WillyCamaro wrote: ↑Fri Nov 22, 2019 3:47 pm I have to ask, what does "lichen" mean? Last, but not least, great knife and photo, Geocash

Don't apologize! One of my quotes is "Even an ugly knife has value and a story to tell." You've taken some very nice pictures Scott and I enjoy them.

Re: Knife Photography
Trying to decide on what to carry on Thanksgiving has led me to these two. A John Lloyd mammoth trapper to slice (maybe) and a Case Bose stag lockback in the pocket.
