I'm sorry Iman. At first glance the knife looked like an old Colonial I have. After enlarging the pic my mistake becomes obvious, my bad. Of course I recognize the background pic, the film has become pretty famous.

Re: Knife Photography
Lost me Squach, what Colonial do you mean? That's a Northfield on a still from the Patterson film. Signature of Bob Gimlin, his horse minder and partner at the time.

Gotcha Squach, no problem at all. Figured you knew the film and all, didn't know about the Colonial.

Great shot Scott!!
I've been eyeballin' one of those Condor Bushlores but haven't pulled the trigger yet. What's your opinion of them?
In the meantime here's one from the archives...

That's a mighty fine fixed-blade. Stag handles? Looks too nice to carry and use!

Thanks Dan.
Yes the handles are stag. It's a Case Rio Grande Camp Knife. It was lightly used when I bought it and I've used it a few times. It's a tad on the large side to be an EDC unless you live in the wilds somewhere.

Re: Knife Photography
If that is a Condor fixed blade, that is a good choice. For me they are a hell of a value.

Re: Knife Photography
Do you know where this knife was made TopDog? Fallkniven often made use of Japan's Hattori. Any indications? They are invariably very well made knives.
