Elmo, Squatch, GSP, you all have some very appealing canoes. Squatch, I think your Marine canoe is very tasteful; a fine commemoration.

Thanks for the kind remarks on the Kissing Crane. Found this old beater at pawn shop a couple weeks ago. It’s missing the secondary blade, but for nine bucks why not.

Rough Rider only mentions "composition" when referring to their synthetic handles. I would suggest contacting them to get a definition of "composite". They have a "contact us" link on their home page that might be of use to you. Hope this helps...

Another new addition arrived yesterday. It's the last one of the orders I placed recently. Now I'm back to being broke! ::rotflol::

Charlie that blue is really nice. I am always partial to scrolled bolsters, it looks especially good on a canoe.

Got in this Rough Ryder canoe. Cinnamon bone stag with Damascus blades. I’m pretty impressed. I swore off of RR knives 8 years ago and sold all that I had. I honestly think these could be put up for a few years and sold for as much or more than you paid for them, just my opinion.

Lookin' good SSK. That cinnamon stag is pretty.

For some reason I can't post pics here anymore. I don't know what changed but I keep getting this prompt: "It was not possible to determine the dimensions of the image. Please verify that the URL you entered is correct". Anyone have a suggestion?

When dealing with something inexplicable to me, my first step is to shut off the computer for about half a minute. Then restart and try again. This frequently resolves the issue.
Hopefully others will come along providing you with step 2 or 3 etc.

I ran into that a little while back. What worked for me was, when you adjust the photo with what ever image editor you have, change the file type to PNG (.pmg) and keep it to no more than 900 pixels when you resize.

Beautiful scales on that one. Rough Ryder have really stepped up their game.

I agree Smitty. I think they have some that would make a for a good collectible. The quality is definitely better than when I was buying them 10 years ago.
