A.G. Russell Mohawk Stag Canoe, Henckels, by Boker, 5 blade canoe, A.G. Russell Mohawk Pearl Canoe and a large Case Stag Gunboat.
I know, I brought a knife to a gun fight.
Pretty doggone good showing if you ask me SSK.

It's not a contest or race Geo. Every collection has its own merit and every collector envies the collections of other collectors. It's the nature of the beast. We are almost never satisfied with our own collection because another collector has a rare one we're looking for or has more knives the we do etc. It's what drives us to keep collecting. I've said it before and I'll say it again, while I appreciate the complements I know collectors who have collections that dwarf mine......and of course I envy them. You keep posting those beautiful canoes and keep on collecting. Now I must bow to you for your last post, ::not_worthy:: I don't have a single Henckels in my collection......YET. ::rotflol::

Here are some Colonel Coons you might find interesting.
It's fine Charlie. I have the right spirit. I would rather sound a little humble, even if I'm not. And you just reminded me, I don't have a Queen Colonel Coon Canoe. Those are good looking knives. Thanks.

Quick Steel, sometimes I feel too old to remember Gabby Hayes but he eventually comes back in focus.
You guys gotta remember just how important Ol' Gabby was......he was in charge of the chuck wagon! The Duke wasn't goin' too far without being fed right! ::woot::

I believe I bought this Henckels around 2000. I liked the knife except for the handles. A few years ago, muskrat man took care of that.

That is a beautiful canoe. Very nice handles on that.

What was on it before MM worked his magic?

Dan, I'm pretty sure it was some kind of antler. I bought it through the mail so I got the next one in stock. Neither side was bad but they didn't match to suit me so I picked out some bone & sent it to Muskrat Man. Now I'm happy & really like it.

But, before I did that, I saw this. It's more of what I had in mind to begin with.

I like it Geo!! ::tu:: Nice little tuxedo too.

European stag has it's own appeal, at least I think so. Like this English made IXL Schrade-Wostenholm.

A Camillus with 420HC, I think, & Gabon Ebony. Probably would have been a Yello-Jacket if Camillus hadn't run out of etched blades (& out of business). Jeffin replaced smooth yellow Delrin with something a little nicer.
