Thank you gentlemen!

The canoe is from the "Green Zebra Wood Family" that Case just released.

Nice one for the season Charlie. Missed you for a bit, thought one of your canoes had tipped over. :)

Wow! Did not know until now that this thread existed, some beautiful knives here. I will be spending a while going thru all of these! Here is my contribution, a Robt Klaas from early 80's, I think.

Ike why didn't you start off with and eye catcher? Maybe one with fancy blades and handles? Oh well, I guess we can just drool over this one. Pretty. ::nod:: ::nod:: ::tu::

Thanks guys for the comments, you have posted some great looking Canoes here and I am now looking at my long neglected KC in a new light. Maybe I need to expand my collecting and buy more stag canoes, maybe.

Stag canoes, bone canoes, wood, canoes, synthetic canoes, baby butterbeans, gunboats, you name it.....they're all cool. Case, Camillus, Canal Street, Queen, GEC Tidioute, Boker, Buck, Robeson, Schatt & Morgan, Kissing Cranes, Ka-Bar, Fight n' Rooster, Bulldog, Brea & Son, .......there are so many canoes and so little wall space for displays! ::rotflol:: A man can't have too many canoes! ::tu::

Got this Remington Canoe. My memory isn’t as good as it use to be so let me know if I make a mistake. This was made in China by Remington back in the early 2000’s. This was a special limited edition that had 100 of each pattern made, this one is serial numbered. The bolsters are not brass but nickel that has been plated with gold after the scrolling was done. Red jigged bone handles.
I had several of these years ago and sold them all, wish I had kept a few, but saw this one come up for sale on EBay and couldn’t resist.
Even though it’s made in China, don’t think this is a cheap throw away knife, these are well made, good fit and finish and 440 stainless steel. You can’t beat them for the price.

It's a good lookin' canoe Mark. ::tu::

I have a few Chinese canoes. The brand names on them were surprising to me when I first started seeing them. Names like Buck, Remington, Colt, Marbles, Kissing Cranes, Winchester.

Finally got around to doing some organizing. Got all the canoes together in one display case. Got all the Barlow’s in one case but I will post those on the Barlow thread. The most frustrating thing about organizing these is finding one you forgot about and having to make room for another one. Found 4 canoes that way and 5 Barlow’s. Too many knives. Oh blasphemy did I just say that? Please don’t tell my wife I said that.

Mark, this is completely off topic but this is the first time I've seen somebody using the same display cases that I use. Yours look the same anyway with a hinged glass top lid.

These aren't Canoes so please forgive me. I just wanted to show that I use these cases too. Got mine at Shepherd Hills Cutlery 10-12 years ago.

I only have two like this, this one and one that is much smaller. Wouldn’t want this for every display case, so many knives I have will not fit in there. Many are just 1/8” too big. But the ones that do fit, look darn nice.

That’s a beauty Charlie. Love that color and jigging on the bone.

Thanks SSK!

The color is called honey comb and the jigging is the Kinfolk jig. It's the latest of the Case Limited Edition Series, series XXXV.
