geo, your canoe looks very "smart", like it would be right in style with a tuxedo or other fine suit.

I've shown this before but I am fond of it as it was the first knife I bought; it got me started into our hobby.

Charlie & Quick Steel, those are some fine S&M stag Canoes. You lucky guys.

I had this one briefly some time ago. Before the tip dropped into the well, the pen blade lost tension so the tip could flop up & down about a quarter of an inch. The seller had more but when he checked, he found they all had the same problem. He returned them & I've not run across another. It sure was a pretty knife to send back. I wonder what happened to them.

It is indeed a very pretty knife. Sorry to hear of you problem with the spring, I haven't had any trouble at all with mine. I think that in the last few years of their existence Queen was experiencing many financial and quality issues and you may have run into a bad run of knives. Truly a shame that an icon of American cutlery is gone forever. Like Schrade, Camillus, and Marbles they have become mass produced Chinese wann-a-bes. Some of the Chinese offerings are wall made but made in the same factories as other Chinese acquired brand names, it's just not the same. :(

Here's one that was a gift from my late wife that I carried for years. The shield dropped out after about ten years of use, fortunately while it was in my pocket, and I glued it back in. It has been relegated to display since my wife passed away.

Not sure if this one counts as a Canoe...it's a Rough Ryder Reserve "KAYAK". Since a kayak is a type of canoe (certainly a close cousin), hopefully it won't be too out of place in this thread.

Looks like a canoe to me QT. ::tu:: Other companies have made canoe pattern knives and called them kayaks. A.G. Russell comes to mind and I believe Parker and/or Frost have as well.

Here's the latest addition to the armada. This one has been on my wanted list forever and I finally pulled the trigger. I'm happy that I bought it but a bit disappointed due to the fact that there is some slight play in the blade when locked open. Not the German craftsmanship I'm accustomed to. Other than that it's a beautiful, well made knife and I have no complaints about that gorgeous European stag.

Looks very fine Squatch. I empathize with you about the blade play. It takes edge off the pleasure of a new knife. Happened to me once with a Puma.
