I agree with you, Floyd, unusual items. I've never seen any of those bottles in my rootin' around. Would love to know about them!

I don't know where to start on this...this new arrival required it's own "special photo". Being a relatively recent convert to the Camillus 72 pattern...I saw this Schatt and Morgan whittler on "the bay". I ended of winning it. It is my one and only S&M. As I was checking out, through Paypal, up popped Ivoryman, in the payment information. Seeing the knife was coming from Seattle...I "put 2 & 2 together" and PM'd to find out, yes this was our own AAPK Ivoryman. I had no idea it was one of his knives; however, it makes it that much more special...knowing it came from a "stable" of amazing knives. The knife is one of those that truly looks better in hand, than the pictures revealed. But what really took it "over the top" was Ivoryman's bomb...a personally carved walrus tooth, not normally included in his packages. I'm honored to have these two pieces as highlights in my meager collection. Thanks SOOOO much Ivoryman...these are special!!!

I didn’t post this bomb since it’s not a knife, but since that lovely collection of bottles is up, here goes.
This came in just over a week ago. I shan’t post the bombers name as I didn’t ask if I could, but her name is Alabama Belle!
What a wonderful instrument. She’s already been the star of uke club and we are off to the open mic today to do a song with the boys.
I have no idea how old she actually is, but I’m going to guess perhaps 1920’s.

You're welcome, glad the knife and tooth went to an appreciative home. I must say that scale is fabulous. Looks like it still works even with all that cracking on the foot step. Sweet pully too. Great shot.

I’ve been mystery bombed!
It’s a beautiful little Richards corkscrew/bottle opener/blade.
As it happens, I recently picked one up, but what a difference! My swap meet find is scungy, with a slightly rusty corkscrew and a very worn blade. It’s also got a couple of suspicious spots. I bought it as a place-filler.
The bomb is in wonderful shape! I don’t think it’s been sharpened and the scales are nice and clean!

I’ve kept most of my bomb packaging for the addresses but one got tossed so it might be him. Anyone want to ‘fess up?

Ann, don't quote me on this but I believe it may be called a "bartenders" knife. I'm inclined to believe that because it looks like it belongs in a bar, poppin' tops and extracting corks.

Oh, yes it is! I’m inclined to think knifers are the best people! I suspect it’s because they were mostly raised ‘old school’.

Scott lived up to his generous reputation today. That Imperial England showed up in my mailbox. Thank you young man. I am so pleased with this sweet medium jack. It fits right in with my little collection of medium jacks and I love it. Very clean knife.

After spending 6 hours this morning driving back from the Youngstown, Ohio I arrived home to unpack, check mail, and there was a cardboard box of a certain size. You know the size. The return address was from our correspondent in HI, Q. My wife accuses me of buying more knives and I was at a loss as it was possible that I had. Opened the box and there was this beautiful mini trapper, antique bone along with the two smaller gifts, a marble and a jug. See picture. Beautiful, but I didn't remember buying this knife. Then it dawned on me, I"VE BEEN BOMBED! So i take the knife out of the box and as I do, I see something else in the box, folded up, a note from Q. He sent this, acknowledging his fixation with mini-trappers, and pointing out this one would match a mini -copperhead I had from SSK a couple of weeks back, a "mini T and a mini C", that's a quote!. And you will note that it has a particular kind of shield, a BOMB shield. Too funny. The knife is gorgeous and was very generous of you to bomb me like that Q. No better way to wind up a trip than this way, thank you. I'll treasure it.

Congrats Steve, Q is the shrapnel master. Three great gifts there. I bet you treasure them. Congrats and salute to Q. That OCD monkey has a terrorist side and will sometime leave an explosive device.

Gave me Deja Vu since that happens to be a frequently recurring theme in my home.

The match of the smooth antique bone Mini T & Mini C just seemed like destiny waiting to happen...all I did was nudge it a bit (OCD Monkey cannot abide loose ends).

Aside from a suspicious disposition towards me as regards knives, and I don't know where that comes from, she's the best. The two are a good match and I have a third too a Tribal lockback in antique bone and bomb shield. That is some pretty bone without jigging. The mini T looks great in it too and I am partial to that model, just not to the same extent as some.
