Yes Sir Q, the blade etch reads #51, doesn't have a "T". Looks just like the one you posted. The 2nd down in the left column even has a wooden blade.

Wood handled knives are some of my favorites. These are all knives that I bought that were missing or had damaged handles and were redone with woods.

Awesome knives gentlemen!
Went through my EDC's this morning to see what I have with wooden handles. Turns out there were 5 of them.
Böker
Japan Advertising knife (my dad worked for Kelly Tires in Cumberland, MD for ten years)
Winchester "Stagecoach" Stockman (the first EDC I bought when I got interested in pocket knives)
Klaas pen knife
Schrade LB-1
Not really sure about the types of wood on em but I don't mind that. I believe the Böker & Klaas have Ebony handles. The Winchester & LB-1 I could probably find out with a little research but I'm too lazy.
I'll check my showcase later on & see what I have in there with wood handles. I can think of at least 2.
Thanks for looking friends!

That's a real cool piece! Was it designed more as a combat weapon or for chopping your way through the jungle? Or both?

Re: "Wood" You Show Us Your Wood?
Checked in both of my showcases but I only came up with 3 knives that have wooden handles.
The Case Stockman & a Hartkopf pen knife with ebony I guess. And a Schrade LB-1 Not really sure about the type of wood on it. I really like them LB-1's though. Can't hardly wait to find an LB-3 sometime. The good thing about not being able to buy any knife that you want is..., you don't spend as much money.
As always, hope you enjoy the pictures!

Re: "Wood" You Show Us Your Wood?
Amazing how many different types of wood are used on knife handles And all of them look great.
I tend to favor highly figured woods that show a lot of grain and unique character...like this amazing little custom fixed blade that I received from Rossr (Einhorn Knives) in the Christmas 2020 Secret Santa gift exchange. Type of wood is unknown (maybe someone can identify it?), but I really love it.

I do like the wood on that knife (and I like that knife pattern as well)...I would guess it's Curly Maple.

Re: "Wood" You Show Us Your Wood?
JP and QT, thank you both for your interest and compliments. It is ancient oak pulled from an old historic building, the actual wood could be 800+ years old, and the markings are a combination of the wood rings and the circular cuts from when the cutler sawed the the wood with a specialist circular saw. Very beautiful knife.

Here are 37 "Woodies". Mostly ebony, some coco and rosewood. I really like ebony knives, very durable and attractive. J.O'.

Case 6207 rehandled in Walnut (I think)...soooo, I wonder if "technically" that would make it a 7207? or a 1207?

When I saw your Queen #51 BEM, Philip, I had this nagging sensation that I had a #51 BEM with the pen blade also...and once OCD Monkey saw it he was like a bulldog on a T-Bone until I finally found it buried deep inside Mini-T Mountain!treefarmer wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 12:05 amYes Sir Q, the blade etch reads #51, doesn't have a "T". That Sycamore is fabulous Q, loooooooooooooooooooove the grain. Looks like a feather embedded in there on that pile side. And the Queen wood is great, Birds eye is a beauty. Two killer woods. And so is the way they exposed the grain. And the color is so fine. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnn. Good show.

Q, I was going to use the word fabulous but Iman beat me to it. I don't think stupendous would be an exaggeration. Superb wood and knives.
