Very few pictures and no links to videos.
I am logged in so I don't know....

Two possibilities. One is you're running an ad-blocker or maybe script-blocker browser extension (AdBlock, Adblock Plus, ScriptSafe, Noscript, etc.) which is blocking objects from the server but still showing the text of the page. I don't know how this would impact being able to log in because I've always whitelisted AAPK. The ad-blockers should be the easiest to configure, just click on the program icon in the browser's toolbar (usually red, think stop signs) and uncheck the option that says "enable on this site" or "block this site", something similar to that. Script blockers might be a little more difficult but you'll need to allow or "trust" allaboutpocketknives.com at the minimum.Meridian_Mike wrote:ALL I can see is big gaps where the pics and links should be....

I'm having the same issue - no vidsMeridian_Mike wrote:Thanks Tony....
I am at work so I might be getting this problem from our server.
I might just have to live with it.....
Funny thing is, everything else works. I see everyone's pics just fine.
AND, I listen to Pandora all day and the ads abound there so.... I am about sure the issue is with our server here.
Oh well.

What's your setup? What are you using to read AAPK and in what environment? (company PC in an office, Your home, on the go cell phone or tablet?)flynbulldog wrote:I'm having the same issue - no vidsMeridian_Mike wrote:Thanks Tony....

yes there's a big blank spot. I have no problem seeing you tube videos on my browser. if I go to you tube. do a search, or even from other forums I belong to. can someone just post the URL's to the videos? I'll just paste them into my address bar . or even just the name of the video and I'll do a google search.jerryd6818 wrote:Same set-up I have except my regular browser is I.E.. When you say you can't watch videos, I assume there is just some kind of blank spot where the video is posted??? Are you able to play videos on the YouTube web site? You may not care for it but have you tried browsing with Internet Explorer?
Plus everything Tony (Tsar Bomba) said above.
Tried it on my Android phone. Same results (that's an assumption). Took this screen shot. I'm speculating, from the bar at the bottom of the picture, that the video wouldn't load because I don't have sufficent free memory on my phone.montemojo wrote:I am not able to watch video either. That does work for me. yep its a bit of an end run but it does solve the problem when it seems like something I really want to watch.jerryd6818 wrote:Did you try a reply with quote & then grab the URL out of the YouTube link? A bit clunky but it might work.

I see what you're talking about on the right side here. Those are system settings and we have no control of them. That's Bryan's private bailiwick.flynbulldog wrote:but this is what happens when I try to post an image url with the image button:
