Looking forward to seeing you post pics of that baby. Wow, those are some fine bones. Color is fab and condition even better. What a cool old knife. Congrats. You should sleep on knife pickups more often. It works.

bighomer says these China made Mables knives are really good knives so I finally found one I wanted to add to my EDC's. Actually I found a few that I liked. The other two were Stockman knives. I already have a number of good Stockman EDC's so I decided to get this Rams Horn Canoe with pinched bolsters. ::tu:: My other two Canoe's are from Case & are showcase knives. Looking forward to checking out this Marbles Canoe! ::nod:: One thing I'm not crazy about but can live with is the fancy nail nicks. I prefer either the "Plain Jane" nail nicks or long pulls. And my favorit type is the "Long Pull Match Strike" type. ::shrug:: :D

Nice pick ups, Jerry, David, Dan & Tom. ::tu::

That Canoe with rams horn is very nice looking

I can see why the Peach Seed drew you in, David.

The 'pipe' knife is very nice, Jerry. I like that blade too. ::tu:: (considering looking for one for the same reason as you ::nod:: )

That's a nice looking green, Dan.

Thanks for the heads up on the pipe knife, Jerry. However, I don't do the bay anymore. That's a great price for it though.

And...if you haven't met your $$ quota yet for June, better hurry up and get that JMM trapper. ::nod:: ::poke::

Saw this Rough Ryder Barlow with the Denim Micarta handle and decided to order the series from SMKW.
Should be here by the middle of next week. That used up my knife budget for this month. ::facepalm::

Go for it. There are plenty of them out there at what I consider a decent price. If I had my druthers, I'd druther it had a pen blade instead of that pipe stem poker, but as my mother would say, "wish in one hand and spit in the other and see which one gets full the quickest"

I just pulled the trigger on the Buck variety pack!

I figured 110s are like potato chips, you can always have one more.

I’ve been thinking about a 119 forever, now I can think about something else.

The Decatur is imported, so I wouldn’t buy one by itself, but in this case I’ll give peace a chance.

I'm sure that will get plenty of use. No room for slackers at the Scott casa. Next you need to get the matching camp ax.

I'd prefer the camp machete actually.....the poll on the axe is too wimpy, you need something that seperates the wood!!
