Was wanting a light (but not mini) pocket-tool for my fishing box. Looked at Academy Sports and the size I wanted was nicely made but $50 for an offshore built model by SOG. Decided to check the AAPK stores before buying at Academy and found the perfect size BUCKTOOL 355 for the same money, it's on the way now from Gary Kennedy in South Carolina. Gary's pictures from the AAPK store. OH

Nice! I love the size of that model. However, the one I have is very floppy in the pliers due to a damaged bit inside the frame. I emailed Buck, and they said to send it in; as they do have the parts to repair it--which is surprising given I think Buck discontinued these about 20 years ago. The Buck series is a nice design, as you aren't gripping down on sharp edges like the Leatherman PST.

So, I'm mailing it off probably this week or next week along with a 112 that needs a new blade; plus a few that have blunt or severely dulled edges for sharpening. Every Buck I have that needs work is going off.

An excellent buy ! I have quite a few Bear. I’ve never found a new one at that low a price.

I've been receiving emails about these knives for maybe a year, so I finally decided to purchase one and see how
the quality of it is. It's out of France. The brand is Deejo. The knife is 37g / titanium, Olive tree scale,
Style is called a Rosario and is engraved with: In God Will I Trust.

This is another example of how closely some of our taste in knives run, David, first the Sanrenmu, next the Belka "Brutalica", and now these Deejos.
You've been getting emails, and I've been watching them for about a year, but seeing as I like my knives on the large size with plenty of weight chances of me buying one are slim, but I'd still like to hear your impressions of them.
I love the overall shape of the knife, but with the hollow body it just seems it would feel far too light and unsubstantial in my hand.
Nice score at any rate!

I got an email from the company already with a FedEx tracking number. They ship faster than SMKW or SHC and it's coming from overseas. I keep a French #8 Opinel at my work bench.

Definitely a great looking knife. Probably from Thiers. I couldn’t find any reference to the steel that they use but I’m sure it’s good. I like it as a collectible but not as a working tool.
I also prefer a more substantial handle for working knives. I’m anxious to hear about it when you receive it.
I have just a few I actually use for EDC. My favorite being a Maserin Plow (SFO). It’s basically a Sodbuster pattern on Steroids. Made in Italy. D2 blade with steel liners, micarta handles, half stop and lanyard hole. It fills your hand.

Madmarco, special factory order, it is contract made for one specific knife store (it’s available online). I messaged you the link to where you can get one. Built like a tank, great working knife. And very reasonably priced. Puts Case Sodbuster to shame.
