Willy, did you click on the link in Mumbleypeg's post on the first page?
The link takes you to something I posted about Bryan telling his story.
If you haven't read it, you will have an entirely different appreciation for AAPK once you know Bryan's story!

With all the new members we have had coming in lately I thought I would make this thread a sticky.
I think people should be able to read the origins of AAPK to really appreciate what it means to so many of us.

It really is his legacy. I am now so proud to support him and all you wonderful people.
God really does work in mysterious ways, doesn't he.
I would someday love to meet Brain and "shake his hand".
Thank you Dale and the crew for supporting him all this time.
Happy days!
God Bless!

Well I started emailing with Bryan bout Thanksgiving 2005....
I was cautious because I had never been on a public type forum before..
well did not take long too get a feel for Bryan, quite a fella he certain sure is !!!
1-2-06 I opened up my Clear Creek Knives store with Bryan's help....
had it till may 2019, 13 1/2 years...sold a lifetime of knives & met so, so, many good folk's...
Shut down after loosing my wife last year, 50 years 1 month together. She was a big part of
the store and shared all the excitement that went with it over the years, ya loose 1/2...well...
AAPK is a whole lot more than knives, it creates life long relationships where you can
share your problems with 100's of folk's and get answers & compassion without leaving your house !!!
A life changer...that is what AAPK & Bryan means to me !!!

When did AAPK get started?
How?
Who?
What was the first post?
"Why" seems obvious, but lest I assume...

Just curious.

This place is absolutely incredible. The information available put out by folks who are more than willing to share their knowledge is amazing. The generosity goes way beyond what could be imagined. The folks here have proven themselves to be more than gentlemen and scholars!

Thanks to all who make AAPK such a great place!!
Just wanted to praise the integrity of the knife collectors community. Ive been ripped off on ebay for $20 items but on numerous occasions ive sent 7-$800 to total strangers to purchase a knife and have never been disappointed in any way. The honesty and integrity ive experienced thru the years is amazing

Just read Bryan's story and became a member, not out of pity but respect. Him and the rest of the people who have made this forum what it is have my respect, mad amounts of info that I am still sifting through and already have had some good people helping me out ::tu:: ::handshake:: ::tu::
