Received this one in the mail today. 2022 Case 6207 Mini-Trapper. It has the arrowhead shield, and what case is calling Brown Peach Seed Jig. I like Mini-Trappers and always going back to them. This one is well made, and blades are really well centered. The finish is well done, handle transition to bolster is super smooth. My only complaint is how much hafting is on the mark side handles. Seems a little excessive from the edges of the bolsters. The pile side looks good, hafting and color. I also notice, that although this one has a Feb. 2022 date on the box, the tang stamp is a 2021. So I'm guessing Case hasn't gotten 2022 tang stamp blades out for all patterns yet, or at least by the date this one was put in the box.

Agreed...Beautiful knife...Exceptionally Beautiful Pile Side. You'll probably want to store that one PSO (Pile Side Out) in your knife storage case. ::nod::

Well.... not a Mini-Trapper per se, but picked up this Cigar Box, and thought it would be a good way to display some of my loose Mini-Trappers. Still undecided on leaving the insert or removing it and putting some felt in the bottom. Would give a little more room. But.... here it is with some of my Loose ones.

My favorite Mini Trapper would be this Case, sandwiched between a full sized Schrade and a Case Serpentine

I think I detect a certain similarity in your bone preference, Ivoryman. :D
Gotta love that early Case Greenbone. ::nod::

Thanks Q, thanks jmh, appreciate that. Wouldn't have all these without you Q. Thanks again. Yes I love a good old greenbone or a Rogers bone or something in that vein. Getting harder to get because of rising demand and prices so these are more pleasing to me the longer I have them. Thanks again

They all look great! What pattern number is that serpentine jack?

Great color, John 8) Looks to have 8 dots, which would make it a 1982; looks brand new though. ::tu::
