Winchester 2635?

Post by Bfeldman »

Just picked this up at the flea market. Does anyone have info about how to date Winchesters? This has a feel of a pre-WW2 Knife but I don’t see a guide to stamps or other characteristics. I’m not seeing any Winchester’s with a wooden handle.

Thanks Roger. That’s consistent with what I would think too. Do you mind if I ask what leads you to that date range? Not trying to bust your chops, just trying to learn more.

Thanks.

Here is a pic from a 1930 catalog reprint. Was made with a spear main blade in 1930.
