Do you all know which one or multiples of your knives has “bit ya”?
Something tells me it happens to us all ::facepalm:: :shock: :x :oops:

You’re right it does happen to most if not all of us. Several threads about it here in addition to the one Steve posted, but most of them are about the damage, not the knives. (Started to say “the knives that did it”, but we all know the knives did not do it. The guilty party is..........us! ::facepalm:: )

If I had the time to list them a working man wouldn't have time to read it, that would hurt alot of people's feelings, and I ain't one to hurt folks feelings, suffice it to say a bunch of them. ::handshake::

I picked up an older Boker barlow that had the tightest pull ever on both blades. It was in great condition but I wasn't use to such a heavy pull and cut myself with it on the first try.

Trying to open an A.G. Russell Wharncliffe Lockback, one-handed, in mid-air. In the promotional video, the company's chief engineer did it easily. He must have bigger hands than I do. Say, you can put a pretty nice edge on that 8Cr13MoV stuff! ::facepalm::

Yes, having a knife with too tight of snap (or too loose) can really get you in trouble.
