There were a few pieces of corn in with the mess, a Camillus Barlow, a PAL that has had the main blade reworked and an unnamed two blade thing.

Based on the posts in this thread, there are 7 folks who ether haven't received their POS package yet or have received it and didn't post here. (There were 38 total entrants). I have full confidence that most of those 7 folks will receive their POS shortly!
I know of one person who wanted to be in the POS but never responded once I sent them the address information (they never answered the IM).
Its a group participation event that for the most part works very well and is alot of fun. But if you're the one who sends out a bunch of knives and gets nothing in return, it's probably much less fun ::td:: .
We may want to require a minimum post count or some other item for inclusion in the next POS drawing.

It is a POS exchange.. I thought I followed the spirit of the roundtable. ::shrug::

Besides I sent one of my EDCs, a very sharp Imperial.

Actually there were at least four "keepers" in that pile. That single blade Imperial jumped straight out of the bag and into my pocket. There was also a nice Imperial Scout knife and a cool little Catt. pen knife with manicure blade, and a nice little Gerber lockback that would make a great little key chain knife. Some of the others were a bit more in the "sinker" category but all in all I was pleased. Because of the high cost of shipping to Canada I held back a few I would have liked to sent to Scale Military, so with those and the surplus items from Dale, I'm loaded for bear when the next exchange rolls around.

Shame on you for putting such TOXIC items in a box and sending them out to an unsuspecting person.
(Psssst.... how did you keep the smell inside until opened? I might try that next year.)

Hey Everyone;
Could you please let me know via Instant Message or E-mail if you DID NOT receive a POS package that you were expecting.
I know some of you may not have posted your photos in this thread so I'm just trying to get a feel for who may have been left out or forgotten in this exchange.
Thanks.
Jeff

Well, I was hoping this package from the land down under would have been lost crossing the pacific but here it showed up.

I have not seen so much tape on a package before, trying to keep something inside are we?

IMG_6982.JPG

Once I got through the tape on the box, which was so thick it acted as an odor blocker, a strange and unpleasant smell began wafting through the room...

IMG_6983.JPG

While trying to hold my breath I hastened to open the bubble wrapped goods. I am surprised my camera didn't short out upon the overwhelming odor of these specimens, which in their heavily taped box and bubble wrap were preserved fresh off the steamin' pile!

International flights are very deranged because of the epidemic in East Asia.
