Oh man, I broke out my level 4 biohazard suit and a pair of heavy-duty tongs this afternoon. I've been filling a shipping carton with the stinkiest, ugliest, gnarliest slicers I could find.

Somebody on AAPK is in serious trouble.

Mine’s going to be most appropriately packaged, with a couple of little extras thrown in.

Actually thrown in.

From a distance of about ten feet, after I add the “knives”. ::paranoid::

I must remember to borrow a pair of welding gloves from work... ::woot::

Just a friendly FYI:
If you haven’t sent me a private message with your name and address in it before the drawing, you will not be included in the festivities!
Most of you have done that, a few of you have not.
Thanks.

Once everyone gets signed up, Jeff will pull names out of his chamber pot (not really but it goes with the theme of the pass around.) or coffee can and pairs that individual with someone on the list. Once he reveals the pairings, you send at least one or maybe a dozen junkers to the person who's name you got. If you sign up, you're going to get. You wouldn't want to cheat someone out of the pleasure of dumping poo on you. That's the way the game is played. You can always throw them in the trash.

I've actually received some pretty decent knives over the years that I've kept and I always throw in one or two that are not a POS. But that's just how I do it.

It's like trading one pile of poo for another, sometimes you come out ahead and sometimes you don't. It's fun. :D

Paul is correct. Most of the time you end up with just another pile of shirt. And sometimes one man's trash is another man's treasure. Then there's that time when you get a sparkly little treasure (for God's sake, don't count on it).

I have gotten some good parts knives and rebuilders from the POS! (Once you get past the initial shock, it is not so bad).

I got some favorites, and a truly evil one. ::paranoid::
It’s a decent knife. The problem was that the blade was firmly stuck in the handle. As the material is plastic, I tried hot water, various files and hooks and sheer cursing power! ::woot::
It took me until June, off and on, but I finally won!
I guess you could call that a “project knife”!

Richard, it's supposed to be random but I'm volunteering to be your +1. Who ever you get can be random so sign on up. I'll PM "The Boss" and let him know. Go ahead and PM your mailing address to him.

I have some crap that should be illegal in any country.

Yes Pete. It's very similar to recycling but I like Phil's explanation better.

I'm in. In order not to load anyone with delivery to BG, I gave an address to a friend of mine in the USA. I'll get my pile after a few months.
