You found a good and clever use for the marlinspike, so it wasn't all bad.

Certain formulations of gear oil give off an odor I am not at all fond of. The Buck looks good, though; it's a Stockman, right?

Yessir. Model 301 stockman.

I’ve been swimming in grease and oil for so many years I don’t even notice the odor anymore.

I used my Kershaw Double Cross to cut some peonies for my wife. The knife looks small because these flowered are HUGE! Hopefully I got all the ants out of them.

So, I found this Jar & Bottle opener at an estate sale and I thought ... ::hmm:: well I am pretty lazy so this opener might make taking the twist off even easier, at the end of a long day when I want to expend as little energy as possible... ::tired:: I think I might have wasted my $2.00... ::disgust::

I've done that before. Awesome old rigger's knife, too!
Victorinox Classic SD Paracord Knife.jpg
This little Victorinox Classic SD isn't pretty, but it lives in my paracord tools box. It got put to work when I made some knife lanyards yesterday. Below are the lanyards I made, one "modeled" by my good ol' Camillus 27.
