Re: Corner of Lanyard Lane & Sheath Street
I don't have but one knife with a lanyard. I have never really been a fan of lanyards..... but that is just me.
This Camillus came to me with one already attached, so, it is still on there.
Sword Brand.... .
I don't go to that trouble taking pictures either....LOL.... this is the sellers pic.

Re: Corner of Lanyard Lane & Sheath Street
This man does AWESOME work.
I have had several of his pieces in hand, and they are top notch.
Re: Corner of Lanyard Lane & Sheath Street
Simple lanyards give these smaller knives more “purchase” in hand.
Re: Corner of Lanyard Lane & Sheath Street
If anyone knows of a good book about how to make these types of things I'd appreciate the Info. Thanks!

Re: Corner of Lanyard Lane & Sheath Street
Here's one that Triple F made.
Worked great on the zipper pull of my Carhartt
jacket, especially when I was snow blowing or shoveling, didn't have to take off my mittens or gloves to adjust the zipper

One of my sisters made me some lanyards for my birthday.
Pocket, fixed, machete, axe, it's all good!

Tom,
I don't know if you can find it but this book is excellent. All the leather braids work equally well with paracord. I did try making my own rawhide with my sons when they were young (whole nother story and mad wife!]. The belt I made in the early 80's. Mostly play with paracord these days.

Re: Corner of Lanyard Lane & Sheath Street
Nice work on that belt! Thanks for the tip, I'll Do some research on the weekend and see If I can find that book anywhere over here. Who knows, sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. But it's still a good tip for others who stumble across this thread so Thanks for sharing that Bill! Even if I don't find it, maybe someone else interested in Lanyards will.thankgod4rkids wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 10:19 pmTom,
