Might need a hint: This manufacturer/wholesaler had contracts to and from 3 other makers nearby and was finally bought by one of them. J.O'.

Last hint: Southington and LFC had close business relations with this maker. Surprising no one suggested LFC. Those scales bear a close resemblance to their product. Reveal tonight if no one gets it. J.O'.

Only one I've ever had or seen. MERIDEN CUTLERY CO. Began in 1855. Bought out by LFC in 1918. Some made by Southington and later by Valley Forge. J.O'.
