Did I miss something here? Is the Dasco a guess? ?? Anyway Dasco was Damascus Steel Products 1922-62.

Once I got past the winterbottom bone. It was the blade shape.

You are correct. The frame and blades are as Utica as they come. But that winterbottom will trip you up for sure.
