Wow, I like that, Sam, even if it's a manual! How is the action on these with the flipper? Thx! 8)

Flips open pretty easily, had to tune it up a little but it didn't take much and there's no side to side wobbel. Pretty nice knife all in all. Kinda like them with more metal than plastic, guess I'm from the old school, lol.

I may end up trying one of those before I shell out the big bucks for a Spyderco Stretch.
Haven't seen any like this one for sale in a good minute. I bought it around 4 years ago but you never know. I bought the Ganzo's from Amazon and Power Cutlery.com

I went to the same school Sam! I definitely prefer metal over plastic! 8)

I just checked Power Cutlery, and you can still get a 707 or 7211/gray covers auto for US$28.00 + shipping, plus they have a multitude of manuals, and Amazon has some manuals! 8)

They have gone up around $10 from the time I bought them but well worth $28, in my opinion.

I totally agree! Even when I bought my 3 a short time ago, they were still less than US$20. each! I think I'd draw the line at about US$30. or more! With that $28. price you need to take into account the damage covid did to retail, as well as the current state of inflation, since these 2 things help explain the higher prices! 8)

Ah ha! I have wanted one of those Bear autos for a very long time Sam! What length open is it, 8 3/4", or is it the mini? How's the action, I heard they fire like a cannon! Thx! 8)

8 3/4 open fires nice too. The button is high above the scale bit it has a safety. Got it for $75 from Blade Ops which was over $25 less than Grindworx or BladeHQ sells them for. Overall it's a nice knife fires strong and everything is tight. It's probably not going to get alot of use. Use the cheapos for that.

Yes sir, for sure! You satisfy your "click therapy" with others and keep one's like this for the ole' collection, me too! I'm not crazy about the button placement on many of these knives, my big fat thumb has a bit of trouble finding the sweet spot, but I still love the knife! You got it for an incredible price, too! 8)

I found these 2 knives in my mailbox today, and both were gifts from fellow members! The first is a Rough Rider RRR007 "Nomad" slip-joint lockback that came from my pal Jamie, thank you kindly my friend! ::handshake:: It's 7 3/8" oal and has a D2 drop-point blade with fat pull, NS ringed bolsters, brass liners pins shield and lanyard tube. Has a nice weight of about 3 oz.'s and arrived very sharp. My new knife has a half-stop as well as very strong detent and 1st-Class fit and finish. Can't wait to see the next offerings from R/R!

The 2nd knife is a 7 3/8" oal "Italian slant bolster" model that's in rough shape and came to me as a gift from my good buddy Herb, thank you bud! ::handshake:: This one has a flat grind blade, SS bolsters and pins, bass liners and pins, and old cracked dried-up horn covers. This knife is also about 3 oz.'s, but the blade came butter-knife dull and repairs to the covers and other aspects of the knife necessary. I was admiring knives in the "For Sale" section and came across this knife along with 3 others being offered by Herb, so I asked him about it, and he said he was going to send it to me as a gift to restore if I choose which of course I do. This is another model auto that has eluded me for some time now due to it having a fixed pivot so the blade couldn't be removed for shipping purposes, so I sure was happy when Herb offered it to me. A great big THANK YOU to you, my friend! ::handshake:: This sure is a friendly forum! 8)

You are more than welcome, it’s a shame that we have to deal with a boarder and the Canadian gustapo of your country’s customs. It is easier and as cheap to send knives to Europe than it is to our northern neighbor. But I’m glad you got the knife THIS TIME
