To each his own, brother! Thanks for the kind words, Nick and Marco!Madmarco wrote: ↑Sun Sep 11, 2022 1:27 am Tim, what a nifty old knife, and your description as "feel good" couldn't be more perfect! I nearly didn't see your post cuz I didn't get a Notification for it, but eventually saw it when a Notification for Nick's post showed, don't know what's-up with that. The moment I saw those cheery bright almost translucent covers it made me kindda "feel good"! Now, can't ya just picture it with 1, nice fat, spear-point blade! Sorry buddy, I've got a "1"-track mind!

I'll add this here, more to brag on Jeffin than show off a knife. It's a fish knife which is not a favorite pattern for me but I saw it on Jeff's site and fell in love with the handles he put on it. It is a bigger knife than I care for at 5 inches closed with no name on the tang but dang he did a great job on it,

Re: Comfort Knives!
Very nice Nick! That knife with candy-stripe covers was the first knife I ever owned given to me by my dad. I always wanted to try the fish scaler, but I never actually did. Jeff did a fine job on those covers, they're outstanding. And you don't need any special reason to post your knives here Nick, after-all, this thread has really only been just that, a showcase for our favorite knives!

Thanks Mark. This has always just seemed to be Madmarco's thread in my mind but it is such a good idea I hope people keep it going.

You nailed it Nick. I completely agree with the sediment, everyone needs to chip in, and keep the thread clipping along.CluelessNick wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 2:32 am Thanks Mark. This has always just seemed to be Madmarco's thread in my mind but it is such a good idea I hope people keep it going.

Jeff has sold a lot of knives here and everyone seems proud of them. This could become a brag on Jeffin thread, Here are 2 old timer 5OT knives I got from him--one in water buffalo horn and the other stag.

Re: Comfort Knives!
Both beautiful knives Nick. Those OT's are a timeless pattern that look good with any material covers, but that stag is outstanding. Really nice knives bud!

Will do…I’ll get them all together and get some Polaroid shots of them…JamieinWV wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 10:49 pmJeff does good work, I think I have purchased 6 or 7 from him this year….CluelessNick wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 9:27 pm I'll add this here, more to brag on Jeffin than show off a knife. Here you go....sorry about low light, was in the garage trying to get shots will put in photo booth over weekend and get some light on them and reshoot them. All of them are polished to high gloss, the middle fixed is laying away from the light making it look black but its bright like the others.

Cool stealthy knife MG! I know that I for one would love to see a full-on straight shot of the knife with the blade deployed, hint, hint! LOL!

Don't drop it on a woods walk, I'd like to see it opened too.

Wow, that knife is so well camouflaged that you'd only get one chance of finding it if you dropped it, and that would be the moment it first hit the ground, cuz after that it would blend right in with the forest floor. Thanks for the additional pictures M.G.!

Yep. Unless you see it drop and hit the earth, she'd vanish into nature.

Cool knife but it almost like it was designed to be lost in the woods
