Bladerunners Systems (BRS)

Post by Rich53 »

Anyone have any experience with this company? They are primarily known for their balisong knives, but they recently began manufacturing folders. I got this the other day, the BRS Apache.

It's a solid knife with a titanium frame and S35VN blade steel.
One thing I noticed is how terrible their marketing is. Their web site looks really amateurish with the owner and employees looking like Limp Bizkit roadies. It's also strange that they don't brand their knives like most companies do. I sent an email asking why and they replied "We prefer the sterile look for our knives."

Anyway, anyone else have a BRS knife?

I've never heard of them until now.

Most people haven't. I ran across the name browsing on bladehq.com

Their balisongs are made in the US and are highly regarded. Their folding knives are made in China, but most reviews I've read of them are positive.

I do appreciate the fact that they ship all their knives with a semi-hard, padded carrying case.
