Benchmade Bedlam Auto Axis

Does anyone on this forum know what thread size the large inner screws on a benchmade Bedlam Auto ???

I called benchmade yesterday and the lady that answered said they couldn't tell me the screw and thread size because it would promote after market parts !!!!! So I ordered a screw identifier !!!!

Any good hardware supply store will have a large selection of nuts and bolts in both metric and USA threads.I would take a sample or even the knife that is missing the screw to one and start going through their selections.The most common size I have seen used is a 2-56 thread.

That’s discouraging to say the least. I assume you’re trying to replace a lost/missing screw? I would have expected them to offer to send you a new one, given what their knives cost. Or at least offer to sell you one if they don’t consider it covered by warranty.

Most good hardware stores will have a selection of screws and someone to help. If there is another screw of the same size in the knife, as Ray suggested, remove it, place it in a baggie and take it with you to see if they can match it. Some Loctite cement might be a good investment too.
