Remington Outers in Leather

Post by 1967redrider »

Did Remington make these RH4s with thick leather slabs?

Or does ol' Sporty strike again? ::shrug:: He doesn't attest one way or the other about the authenticity of this knife.

I would have to assume that handle is a homemade job. That doesn't look like Sporty's handywork to me, but I still wouldn't trust him "as fas as I could throw him". :D

I agree, Herb. I probably need to Google STADRI to see if this was an outfitter or a leather company, never seen it before. And I'm suspicious about its Remington connection. ::paranoid::

The only Sta-Dri I was able to find was a manufacturer of patches (who also sells and produces leather patches), founded in 1955. That alone tells me, most likely, FAKE

Here's a RH4 with Rogers bone. I would agree that sporty's RH4 has been rehandled.
